The Posi-Snap installation is designed to be straightforward and user-friendly. Our engineers have put significant effort into making the process as simple as possible. In most cases, you won't need any special tools. However, you may find a butter knife or flat-head screwdriver useful for opening the clamp during installation.

To install your Posi-Snap, remove it from the packaging and open the clamp on the back. Position the lightweight unit (1.5 lbs) over the intended pipe, then close the clamp to secure it. Connect the unit to a power outlet. The Posi-Snap will automatically activate and begin water treatment. You can confirm it's operational by checking the front panel, where both LED indicators should illuminate.

While initial improvements are often noticeable quickly, the full benefits of the Posi-Snap treatment may take some time to manifest. The duration largely depends on the extent of existing scale and deposits in your pipes. Typically, it takes between 30 to 60 days to dissolve old deposits, though in some cases with low water usage, it may extend to 90 days or more.

The Posi-Snap is not designed to address iron-related water issues. If you're experiencing brownish-red staining indicative of iron problems, our product won't be effective in resolving this. We recommend contacting us to discuss alternative solutions based on the specific iron levels in your water supply.
